14 days Discovery Cambodia (DI14)

ITINERARY

  DAY 1: Arrival at Siem Reap. Night at hotel.

  DAYS 2-3: Trekking through the main temples park of Angkor Wat of the small and big circuit. Hotel in Siem Reap.

  DAY 4: Departure for Kbal Spean, the river of the thousand lingas in jungle. Walk on to a lost temple in jungle and carry on our route to a lost temple, Beng Mealea.. Night spent in the village.

  DAY 5: Departure aboard the Jarai the traditional wooden sampan of Terre Cambodge to explore the Tonlé Sap, the great lake of Cambodia and its many floating villages. Night spent with the villagers in a floating village or on board of the Jarai .

  DAY 6: Discovering the flooding forests of the Tonle Sap and the wild-bird sanctuary on board of a wooden dugout . Night spent with villagers in a floating house or on board of the Jarai.

  DAY 7: Departure to Phnom Penh . Visit of PHN. Hotel in PHN

  DAY 8: Flight to Ratanakiri. Visit of the nearby waterfalls, swimming-break at the volcanic lake Yak Lom. Night spent at the hotel .

  DAY 9: Departure for Laos and the villages along the border. Excursion in the villages of the ethnical minorities, called the Kroeungs. Night at the hotel.

  DAY 10: Departure for the village of Bokéo , then moving up to Andong Meas to join the beautiful river Sé San. Night at the hotel.

  DAY 11: Departure to Stung Treng, the last big city of the Mekong in the North of Cambodia, near the Laotian border. Crossing of the Mekong for a trekking in the villages. Night spent at the hotel.

  DAY 12: Departure with the fast boat to Kratie, observing the fresh-water dolphins of the Mekong at late afternoon. Night spent at the hotel in Kratie.

  DAY 13: Departure to Kampong Chham, former colonial town on the shore of the Mekong . Go on to PHN. Hotel in PHN

  DAY 14: Visit of the « Russian » market with a last-shopping opportunity. Transfer at the international airport.
